My obsession with accessories came from my grandma whose personal style was elegant and sophisticated. She absolutely loved handbags and shoes, and I loved spending time in her closet perusing her collection and asking about my favorites. It seemed that each bag came with a story like where it was found, or who gifted it, or an event it had been taken to.
Now as a designer, I continue to appreciate handbags as personal artifacts and find that a great handbag is one that holds a tension between timelessness and originality.
With over a decade of experience sewing and a MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, I’ve refined a modern heritage design style rooted in storytelling. I celebrate the longevity of personal style and practice a meaningful small scale production model. My designs are made to be loved for years to come.
